Paul Mitchell The School ? Santa Barbara Celebrates Grand Opening

School owners, staff members, and Future Professionals throughout the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology Schools network joined Paul Mitchell The School – Santa Barbara to celebrate their January grand opening. "Santa Barbara is such a beautiful place and the strength of the hairdressing community there is so strong that we always knew we would one day open one of our schools there," said Paul Mitchell School Dean and Cofounder Winn Claybaugh. "A night of pouring rain could not put a damper on our beautiful grand opening, and the packed house that night from salons, the mayor, and the business community all added up to the perfect launch for a Paul Mitchell School that I know will make a huge difference."

Among the attendees was Global Salon Business Award recipient and entrepreneur Walter Claudio, whose Walter Claudio Salon Spa is one of the top salons in Santa Barbara. "We feel blessed to have Winn and Paul Mitchell The School in our community," he said. "The commitment to excellence was evident at the grand opening, from the quality of the Paul Mitchell tribe to the design and location of the facility. The Paul Mitchell culture of education will have an enormous impact in the lives of many who are seeking a career in the beauty industry. I am looking forward to promoting the school to as many as possible!"

Paul Mitchell The School – Santa Barbara is dedicated to Winn's parents, Donn and Jeanne Claybaugh. A special plaque presented to the school reads:
