Paul Mitchell Beauty School Fresno is located in a transportation friendly central corner of northeast Fresno. It’s near the popular Cultural Arts District and the vibrant and culturally diverse Tower District which features live theater, movie theaters, eclectic shops and restaurants, and community events like Jamaica My Weekend, Mardi Gras in February, and a farmer’s market.

With over 300 days of sunshine each year and more rivers and lakes than anywhere else in the state, the county has an ideal climate for year round outdoor activities. The warmer months bring rock climbing in Yosemite, whitewater rafting on the Kings River, and action sports at Fresno’s BMX, mountain bike, and skate parks. In winter, the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains offer amazing skiing and snowboarding for downhill and cross country enthusiasts.

Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.

Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.
