Paul Mitchell Schools Announce Plans for 9/11 Tribute Events

Each year since the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001, Paul Mitchell Schools have held a variety of events in remembrance of the precious lives lost that day. During the week of September 7–13, 2014, many schools will invite police, firefighters, military, and first responders to stop by for free services or other special events. Others will host fundraising events for local police, firefighters, their widows and orphans funds, and even rescue dogs. Every school will hold a special in-school tribute or memorial that day, with students and staff sharing stories of how the events of September 11 helped them improve their lives or become closer to their families.

Beauty Changes Lives Sassoon Scholarship Winners Announced

Three Future Professionals from Paul Mitchell Schools won Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarships. Amber Valdez and Isabelle Wills from Rudy and Kelly Academy, and Lucy Mora from Paul Mitchell The School Logan won basic scholarships, which pay for 50% of their tuition (up to $10,000 tuition) at a qualified school.

VivTV Live Web Benefit for Maureen Anlauf

On September 9, at 8 PM EDT, Vivienne Mackinder will host a live web show in support of nationally acclaimed stylist and three-time NAHA winner Maureen Anlauf, who was recently diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and forced to stop working in the career that means so much to her.
