WELCOME TO PAUL MITCHELL
THE SCHOOL NORMAL
Are you just beginning to explore your dreams and goals in cosmetology or esthetics? Or are you a seasoned professional looking to advance your career through our teacher training program?
Students from Peoria, Springfield, Champaign, Decatur, and Ottawa have discovered that Paul Mitchell The School Normal is a great place to start. In fact, our beauty school in Normal, IL, was nominated as a best trade school in the Bloomington-Normal area in 2021. We’ve maintained that same standard of excellence since our school’s founding in 2007.
When you study cosmetology or esthetics at Paul Mitchell The School Normal, you’ll find yourself close to all the comforts of home in a growing metropolitan area of Illinois. This small town is big on fun and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Hike Constitution Trail, visit Maxwell Park, and soak up the sun and water at nearby Lake Bloomington. And you can take advantage of the college spirit that Illinois State University brings to the area by catching a game or two or visiting the University Galleries.
Why not expand your horizons with a visit to the McLean County Museum of History, David Davis Mansion state historic site, Funk Prairie Home and Gem and Mineral Museum, or Prairie Aviation Museum? Or take your inner child to the Children’s Discovery Museum or Miller Park Zoo. You can also experience the local golf course options and find a favorite place to relax on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Explore everything Paul Mitchell The School Normal has to offer while you start your education journey in the cosmetology, esthetics, or cosmetology teaching industries. See below to learn about our education programs, guest services, directions to our campus, and more.
