Paul Mitchell The School North Haven welcomes eager learners to our cosmetology, esthetics, makeup artistry, nails, and eyelash extensions programs. Join Future Professionals from Hamden, Cheshire, North Branford, Durham, Meriden, and Wallingford at our beautiful cosmetology school in North Haven, CT, and enjoy the nearby shopping destinations and eateries on Washington Avenue. Visit Our CampusCosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.
Cosmetology (1500 hrs), Cosmetology Refresh (245 hrs), Cosmetology Refresh (135 hrs)
Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.
Esthetics (600 hours)
Makeup
Go beyond the makeup basics taught in most cosmetology programs and learn about the advanced techniques required for bridal, editorial, and runway makeup.
Advanced Makeup (100hr), Eyelash Extension (50hr)
Nail Academy
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.

Eyelash Extension
Explore the world of eyelash extensions in this comprehensive program. Learn the fundamentals, from anatomy and lash growth to application techniques and client aftercare. Students will be educated on topics such as eye health, sanitation, laws and rules, marketing and business essentials, and more.
