Paul Mitchell The School - Costa Mesa Goes Red
by How You Can Give Back on 2/1/2008Paul Mitchell The School - Costa Mesa was a sea of red balloons, flowers, clothing, hair, and nail polish in honor of the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day on February 1, 2007. Service guests included heart attack and stroke survivors, as well as family members participating in memory of loved ones lost to heart disease. Representatives from a local hospital provided free health screenings and raised awareness about the risk factors of heart disease.
Admissions Leader Janet Payne found that partnering with the American Heart Association was a powerful way to get the message to the community. We are educators by nature, she said, and the response from the community has been tremendous.''
