Barbering

Full-service men's barbershops and male-focused salons are popping up everywhere, meeting the growing demand for a comfortable, male-oriented space where men can get a great haircut or color, cover the gray, and experience the time-honored tradition of a relaxing, rejuvenating shave. Our barbering program features hair cutting; chemical work (including coloring and perms); men’s shaving and grooming; basic skin care; and hairpiece design, fitting, and maintenance in a three-phase program we call Core, Adaptive, and Creative.

Paul Mitchell The Schools are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences or COE and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Each agency requires that we provide you with important information regarding our school's outcome rates in the areas of completion, placement, and licensure; however each agency requires that we provide outcome rates differently. For our accrediting agency, we are required to list the outcome rates for each main campus and all additional campuses together. Because there are 104 campus locations across the United States must provide you this information on individual school campus websites. Please visit locate the campus you are interested in attending in our Where To Attend section of our website to find the campus you are looking for. If you have any questions regarding our outcome rates, please see contact the Admissions Team, at your local campus, for assistance.

On-time completion is defined by the U.S. Department of Education as anyone who graduates within the normal completion time. When a student completes their graduation requirements, including all theory and practical assignments, and the required number of clock hours contracted for within their original contracted graduation date, that student is considered to have graduated on-time. If a student delays their graduation for any reason, for even one day, such as family responsibilities, day care issues, and other life events, which causes them to graduate after their original contract end date they are not considered an on-time graduate. Please note that our graduation rates that are provided in the school catalog are based on how many students started the program and how many completed within the reporting period.
