Meet some of the Learning Leaders and team members who make Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa so special.
Charles serves as dean of the school and operations leader of The Temple Annapolis. His background includes 15 years behind the chair at one of the top salons in the United States. In addition to receiving advanced certification from many of the top hair care companies in the world, he ran the back-office, handling the day-to-day decisions that drive every successful business.
Honored for his industry leadership, Charles has been the recipient of the Harms Software Technology Award as well as the Spirit of TSA Award. He is passionately dedicated to the business of beauty, and works with a focused drive to move the cosmetology industry forward through top quality education.
Sharon has been in the beauty industry since the age of 18 and was named one of the 150 Most Influential Women in the beauty industry by the WISE women organization in 2008, and has received that honor in many subsequent years. She has also been a lead consultant for the Paul Mitchell School admissions and sales team that help train and lead over 115 schools. She has assisted in writing guides, webinars, and focus groups in all areas. She recently retired from being one of 12 owner/director consultants who travel to support and train Paul Mitchell Schools through the Paul Mitchell Schools Partner Training Program.
Sharon and her family also own and operate New York, New York Salon and Day Spa, which just celebrated 25 years in Frederick, Maryland. She is a member of Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, where she was honored in 2008 as a Paul Harris Medal Recipient for her time and contribution to the Frederick community. She is vice chair of the Women’s Giving Circle Grant Committee and volunteers for many local events in Downtown Frederick. Sharon is currently working on establishing more Paul Mitchell School locations in Annapolis, and Savannah, Georgia.
