Meet some of the team members who make Paul Mitchell The School Esani so special.

Arlene Lyons

Owner/Director

Experience in education…

After a long and successful corporate career as a vice president in the financial services industry, Arlene has been in the Paul Mitchell School business since 2004. In addition to learning to master the administrative and financial aspects of the education business, in 2013 she developed and began teaching a salon business management program at her second education business, The Mastery.

Experience in the beauty industry…

Arlene's beauty industry experience started with building and leading Paul Mitchell The School Esani and has extended to conceiving, owning and leading a one-of-a-kind master academy and 5-star salon, The Mastery By Esani.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

On the personal front, my mother's beautiful spirit lives in my heart and guides me daily. On the professional front, Ozzie Moore and Tony D'Amato who believed in my dreams long before they became a reality. And, John Paul De Joria, whose integrity and compassion stand in sharp contrast to the ego-centric, ruthless personality profile that is all too often identified with hugely successful business people.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Esani is…

Who ever said anything about working! It is the most amazing adventure to see our Future Professionals grow and blossom into confident professionals and outstanding community members.

To me, living beautifully means…

Living in the service of others.
