My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Atlanta is…

The people. Everyone is helpful and fun. It's truly like a family.

Helping others and living without regret.

Experience in education…

I am a Paul Mitchell graduate and I loved it so much, I decided to come back and work here!

Experience in the beauty industry…

After graduating from Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta, I trained with Aveda color at Van Michael. After moving to Palm Beach, FL I trained with both L'Oreal and Redken color at The David K Space. As fate would have it, I moved back to Atlanta and started with Salon Red where I trained in Wella color and Pravana.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is...

My grandfather, because he is the strongest man I know. My grandfather, Bob, is my hero. This man is who I've based most all of my life goals and morals off of.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta is...

Getting to work with the people who helped mold me into the woman I am today. I admire every single one of them and consider them my family. It's such a wonderful feeling to truly love and respect the people you work with. Makes going to work less like going to work.

To me, living beautifully means...

Living with balance. I put just as much energy into experiencing great food, travel, and making new friends as I do into my work. Balance is important.

Jan Wilson

My mentor. or the person who has most inspired me is...

In my life, mentors have come according to what I need to learn. My grandmother started the journey. Scott Cole has always been a tremendous resource. My daughter Claire and son Sam shine to keep my spirit alive.

Life has ebbs and flows that allow the right person at the right time, regardless of their age, to be mentors.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Atlanta is...

I feel very enriched by having the chance to work with people from so many different economic, social and cultural backgrounds. I'm very fortunate to be able to give and recieve life lessions because I can work in an urban community of talented people.

Living healthy and free with kind, caring people.

Holly Andrews

Administrator

Experience in education…

Graduated from the Aveda Institute of Atlanta and have worked at Paul Mitchell the School of Atlanta for over 5 years.

Experience in the beauty industry…

I have been in the beauty industry for 10 years. I have worked as a stylist in salons but really enjoy the opportunity to get in at the ground floor by working in a school.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

This is a tough one. I feel inspired by so many people for so many reasons. I get inspired by my Paul Mitchell family all the time. I get inspired by world travelers. I get inspired by couples who have been together for 50 plus years. I love being inspired and I am always looking for people in my life that have passion. Passion for anything is what is truly inspiring. When it's all said and done, if I had to pick a person that has inspired me the most, it would be my husband. He has such a wondrous spirit and is always in search of the things in this world that leave you in awe.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Atlanta is…

I love being able to see the industry from all aspects. One day I'm in the office helping students apply for loans, the next day I'm watching a fashion show. You never know what to expect on a day here at Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta, which in itself is exciting!

To me, living beautifully means…

Living beautifully is putting energy and love into something that offers no direct benefit to yourself. Selflessness is beautiful and making someone else feel beautiful is what this industry is truly about.
