As our co-founder John Paul DeJoria has famously said, "Success Unshared is Failure." That's why our Future Professionals at Pulse Beauty Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School, are proud and excited to give back through local events and our annual three-month FUNraising campaigns. In fact, since 2004, Paul Mitchell Schools throughout the country have raised more than $13.3 million for charities in their communities and around the world.
Pulse Beauty Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School, has served the disabled student population for close to a decade through a day of beauty event at the child and career development center (a division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit) every year on the day of the student prom. The CCDC serves students with disabilities, many of whom are foster children who have never had a salon experience. We are so proud of the Future Professionals who participate in this life-changing opportunity to give back to this often overlooked community of special people.
Pulse Beauty Academy has served the disadvantaged female population in Chester County for close to a decade through Wings for Success, a non-profit organization that supplies disadvantaged women reentering the workforce with work-appropriate clothing, accessories, interviewing and communication skills, coping skills, and other support mechanisms as they come out of abusive relationships, recovery, and poverty. Pulse provides hair, makeup, and nail services to the women referred by Wings for Success, and hosts a biannual beauty event that includes before and after photographs of Wings’ clients.
