Nasha Aquino

Experience in the beauty industry…

I have 11 years of cosmetology experience. I worked in the salon and on photo shoots and in weddings as a stylist. However, the most rewarding position I have ever held is being a Learning Leader for Paul Mitchell Schools.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My mother. She instilled in me that being sweet and caring is not a weakness—it is actually a strength. I will never forget that. She also inspires me to be a better person every day.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School East Bay is…

Watching our Future Professionals grow in their skills and techniques. From seeing them in core to helping them pass their state board examination and receive their licenses, it is my favorite thing about working here. It melts my heart every time a Future Professional graduates and their dreams come true.

To me, living beautifully means…

Not being afraid of stepping outside of the box and being creative and letting your soul glow. Life is so beautiful and we have the gift to witness it everyday, even between tears and fears, it’s worth it.
