Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln
Team

Meet some of the team members who make Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln so special.

Grace Ellis

Director

Experience in the beauty Industry…

I come from a medical background, and about five years ago was asked to join Paul Mitchell The Source as a store manager. I had limited knowledge in the hair care business at the time, but quickly found my passion in running the stores and being involved in the beauty industry. I was promoted to regional store director over six locations, four in Nebraska and two in Kansas. The owners had been planning to open a school in Lincoln, Nebraska and asked me to be the director. We opened the school in February, 2014, and I have enjoyed watching our Future Professionals grow into confident, mature, and very talented cosmetologists.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My father. He was the hardest working, honest man I have ever known. He was a man of few words, with a passion in doing for others and asking for nothing in return. He saw the good in everyone he met, and rarely spoke a harsh word about anyone.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

Definitely being with our Future Professionals and sharing in their journey.

To me, living beautifully means…

"It's not about being the best, it's about being better than you were yesterday!”

Trina Ware

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

Winn Claybaugh is my mentor. His words continue to inspire me. We all need more positive vibes, and he has practical advice on how to implement being nice in our everyday lives.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

The way that everyone is truly vested in the Future Professionals and the team as well! The culture is a true treasure that helps to keep a positive environment.

To me, living beautifully means…

Keeping a balance between work and home. Also, it is beautiful to me when I get up each morning and get to help as many people as possible.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My mom has always been a great mentor for me in my personal life; she was and still is an AMAZING mother!

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

Simply the fact that we are ALL family here—our team and our Future Professionals make it a joy to come to work each day! It is fun to watch our Future Professionals grow their confidence and skills in cosmetology.

To me, living beautifully means…

Enjoying every moment that you have, and being thankful for the people around you to share those moments!

Emily Ann Schreiter

Sales Leader, Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln graduate

Experience in the beauty Industry…

New to the industry, I graduated in April of 2015.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My mentor is Holly Williams. She is still fairly new to the industry, only having graduated about seven years ago, but she's done amazing things...she's educating, owns her own salon, and does amazing work.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

My co-workers and the Future Professionals; it's a family here, which makes me look forward to coming to work every day.

To me, living beautifully means…

It means you work every day to be your best. On good or bad days, you look at the good things and be grateful for what you have. It means taking the time for yourself and your loved ones, but also taking time to give back to the community. It also means to be confident in yourself, in what you do, and who you are—because who we are is what makes us all different.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

I feel like I finally found home. My co-workers truly are my family, and the Future Professionals continue to wow me every day!

To me, living beautifully means…

To me living beautifully comes from within to shine on the outside. When you feel good on the inside it will show through to others and rub off.

Jill Oelke

Education Leader

Experience in education…

I've been a licensed cosmetology instructor since 2012.

Experience in the beauty Industry…

I received my cosmetology license in November, 1998 and also my barber license in June, 1999. I opened my own salon in 2000, and decided to close after 12 years to become an instructor.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My mentor is my Dad. He has always been there for the family through thick and thin. His work ethic is unbelievable...always going above and beyond for us. I love that I can talk to him about anything at any time. He always puts his family first. That is something that is so important to me.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

Watching the Future Professionals grow and learn every day! The moments you can see excitement in their eyes!

To me, living beautifully means…

Going to work and not feeling like you are working; it's like having fun and spending time with friends that all share the same passion and joys as you!

Michaela Jarosh

Learning Leader

Experience in education…

I received my instructor license from the state of Nebraska in March of 2015. I knew I wanted to be an instructor before I graduated hair school. I finally reached a point in my career where I could set my own hours and be my own boss at the salon, and that allowed me to go back to school to become a cosmetology instructor. I love helping to set the foundation for our Future Professionals.

Experience in the beauty Industry…

I have been working behind the chair since August 22, 2005. I started my career with Regis Salons in the Oakview Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. It was the perfect place to hone my skills, gain tons of experience, and make great memories! In July of 2012, I rented a studio in West Omaha and took steps toward my goal of becoming an instructor.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My brother, Aaron. He always seems to know what he wants and knows exactly what to do to work toward it. He has encouraged me to work toward and achieve my goals. He, like me, has a career that he is passionate about, and that is something very hard to find.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School Lincoln is…

The Future Professionals and I work with a great group of Learning Leaders!

To me, living beautifully means…

Always having a positive attitude and outlook on life. I believe when you live that way it influences those around you to adopt a positive attitude as well, and spreading positivity is beautiful!

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My Aunt Alicia— she has been doing fabulous hair for as long as I can remember. I used to love to just sit and watch her cut, color, and style hair for hours.

I love how everyone is so positive and always wants you to achieve your goals, no matter how big or small.
