Director

Experience in education…

6 years experience in Cosmetology education, including management, student relations, admissions, financial aid and operations. Associates degree in Human Services Management.

Experience in the beauty industry…

12+ years experience in the Beauty industry as a Master Cosmetologist, experience working for salons such as Hair by Bennie & Friends and Dimensions Salon & Spa. Obtained Cosmetology educator license and gained experience in all aspects of Cosmetology education. 

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My mother.

The culture and community. My team at this school is one unlike any other, they are supportive, knowledgeable and Create Magic everyday! The Future Professionals are happy, and on track to becoming successful individuals!

I have served in various positions at Paul Mitchell The School Louisville from 2008 until present. I’ve been the Future Professional Advisor, director and operations leader.

I have been involved in the beauty industry since the inception of the school in 2008. I have seen and been involved with many different aspects, including local and national salons, national platform artists, suppliers, operational specifics and more. 

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

My brother David is a musician and artist and is one of my mentors. He inspires me with his passion, strength, love, loyalty, resilience, talent and creativity. He's very unique and I continue to learn from and with him.

Building professional relationships with the Future Professionals and associates at the school. Sharing in the joy of achievements by the Future Professionals is an incredible bonus.

Living out Winn Claybaugh's "Be Nice" culture. Our outside appearance is just a pale reflection of our true inner beauty. When you feel good and do good, good things will happen to you and those around you.

My mentor is Patricia McGrew-Marshall.  She always instilled the best within me.  She gave, and continues to give me courage, knowledge and guidance in all areas of the cosmetology industry.  She set the example before of what a great stylist/educator is.  That inspired me to create my own destiny.
