John Mosley is the founder and CEO of the Popular Nobody brand, an artistic director for John Paul Mitchell Systems, and education program director for a prestigious Dallas barbering program.

Named a “popular nobody” by a faithful client, John lives up to the moniker and capitalizes on it. He was named NAHA’s 2022 Educator of the Year, a Modern Salon Top 100 Industry Game Changer, and Barbershop Connect's Barber Educator of the Year.

John was the barber and men’s grooming specialist for Eminem and Rihanna’s “Monster Tour" and the Netflix film, Deuces. His A-list clients include Larenz Tate, Idris Elba, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, the NFL Players Association, Major League Baseball players, and a few NBA players.
