As our co-founder John Paul DeJoria has famously said, “Success unshared is failure.” That’s why our Future Professionals at Paul Mitchell The School Miami are proud and excited to give back through local events and our annual three-month FUNraising campaigns. In fact, since 2004, Paul Mitchell Schools throughout the country have raised over $18 million for charities in their communities and around the world.
Paul Mitchell The School Miami is an active member in our community. During our FUNraising campaign, we placed 30 out of the top 50 schools, and raised over $19,000. One of our own Future Professionals was a candidate for the “Top 10 FP’s”— she helped generate $1800 in donations in 2011.
We are also proud to give back through local events. We had the honor of being a part of the TLC Design Team for “Say Yes to the Dress,” and did hair and makeup for underprivileged girls in 2015. Our Future Professionals participated in Circus Couture Fashion Show 2010 by bringing in models and doing hair and makeup. During this event, Paul Mitchell The School Miami brought together seven designers, two bands, multiple circus acts, and a contortionist. Paul Mitchell The School Miami was also featured on a local news channel for “Free Hugs Day” in 2013.
