July 1, 2020
Due to the increased community spread and positive cases of COVID19 in Allegheny County, we feel it to be in the best interest of our Future Professionals and Staff that beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2020, we reduce the number of students in the building. Our Future Professionals have been advised of their new schedules and will follow these schedules for the next four (4) weeks. We will be evaluating the schedules along with the status of the COVID19 pandemic in 2-week blocks to ensure that we are continuing to do everything we can to keep our students and staff safe.
Please use this link to our view our COVID19 Health Plan and Policy.
Bella Capelli will continue to have the building cleaned and sanitized every evening as well as the staff cleaning and sanitizing the high touch points multiple times throughout the day. We will continue to monitor the health of our Future Professionals and Staff by asking them the (2) screening questions every morning and taking their temperatures upon entry. We ask that you please stay home and contact the school by text message in the event you know that you will answer “YES” to either of the screening questions. While in the school, please be sure to continue to practice good hand hygiene, keep your hands away from your face, wear your masks and practice social distancing including on your mask breaks outside. Our plan is to be very transparent about COVID19 cases that we hear about amongst our Bella Capelli community to ensure you are provided with the true and correct information. It is our intent to provide you all with a safe learning environment.
We all need to work together to keep each other and our loved ones safe.
Thank You and Peace,
Paul DeSabato
Our Future Professionals, Staff and Guest’s health and safety remain
our #1 priority throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Today, Governor Tom Wolf announced that our county will move into the Green Phase at 12:01am, Friday, June 5, 2020 allowing us to open for in-person learning. We continue to diligently work to ensure that our Future Professionals and Staff can return safely to our building. We are still awaiting additional guidance from the Department of Education and State Board of Cosmetology. Once our plan is finalized, we will immediately update this page. Please check back early next week for more details

Until further notice, in accordance with the orders and guidance of Governor Tom Wolf, Bella Capelli
Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, will continue doing business
as follows:
Our clinic classrooms are closed.
Our NEW Future Professionals will continue enjoying their education
via distance learning.
Our Admissions Team is offering virtual meetings via Zoom,
FaceTime, GoogleHangouts or over the phone. Please use the
“Request Information” button on our home page for scheduling.
At Paul Mitchell Schools, the health, safety, and well-being ourof
students, team members, service guests, and community are among
our highest priorities. We continue to monitor state, local, national, and
industry guidelines regarding COVID-19 and are taking proactive
measures as needed.
Our schools and our entire industry always prioritize sanitation and
safety. All of our programs include and follow stringent guidelines
established by state cosmetology and barbering boards and local health
departments for the proper cleaning and maintenance of tools and
stations. Even before the spread of COVID-19, we already provide a
fully sanitized experience, which includes washing our hands between
each guest and cleaning surfaces and tools with antibacterial cleaner.
We are currently taking additional measures, including the use of
industrial-grade cleaners to sanitize stations, door handles, and
frequently touched services on a more frequent basis and increasing the number of strategically placed disinfectant wipes and hand-sanitizing stations throughout the building, so students, staff, and visitors can use as desired.
We look forward to seeing you all in the building soon.
Thank you for understanding
