Hello Future Professional and Team Members & our Community:

Here’s to a Healthy New 2021!  Our 2020 year brought many changes to our world!

We ensure the health and well-being of our school community while the experience, look and feel is a little different now. We remain committed to delivering the personalized learning experience and the Be Nice environment that makes who we are at Paul Mitchell the school North Haven.

Moving into 2021 our goal is to remain  safe and healthy as the Coronavirus pandemic continues.  Our plan is always based on an analysis of government health authorities guidelines.  A look back to the implemented measures under three priorities that we have adopted:

Health & Well-being

Facial coverings in accordance with the CDC guidelines – facial coverings, eye protection.

Social distancing:

Signage in common areas to help define best practices. Social distancing of six feet should be practiced to the maximum extent possible.

Limited capacity in shared spaces, common areas, including classroom ,seating arrangements such as cafeteria to maximize physical distance.

Flexibility/Adaptability

New schedules were adopted to minimize classroom capacity.

Also a hybrid schedule again to minimize the time spent with the same group of students.

The a synchronized assignments also provide an opportunity to make up lost hours for students.

Campus Safety

We have provided standalone air purification units with HEPA filters. The General Classroom uses a HVAC systems that increases outdoor air ventilation.

Barrier protections:

Flexi Glass barrier protections are located in service areas, reception and the take home area including the Financial Aid office.

Cleaning and sanitation:

We partner with a vendor who specializes in enhanced cleaning procedures. We use CDC-recommended and EPA-approved disinfectant products and routinely clean high-touch surfaces in all indoor and outdoor areas. Common area bathrooms are addressed multiple times throughout the day.

Effective January 1st we are sanitizing all classrooms and common area with Victory Innovations Professional Electrostatic Sprayer that Disinfects and Sanitizes surfaces.

Through adherence to health and safety protocols, our positive COVID-19 cases still remain manageable as of today we are currently aware of 12 active cases.

We will continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our community and our school, we will continue to make additional modifications as conditions change.
