Experience in education…

I am certified in Level 1 makeup, I participate in all team trainings, and I have taken classes with Debra Dietrich, Michael Helm, and various leaders from our school.

Experience in the beauty industry…

After graduating from Paul Mitchell The School North Haven, I worked in a salon/spa. I missed the energy and culture that I had loved so much as a Future Professional, so I ultimately decided to return.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspired me is…

Danielle Piniarski, Learning Leader and Texture Specialist. She is such an amazing leader, educator, woman, team member, and friend. I admire her work ethic, skills, and overall incredible talent in this industry. Every day I come to work, I learn something new from her and she challenges me to always be better today than I was yesterday. I look up to her for all that she is and for the way she motivates and inspires people, perhaps without even knowing it. I am blessed to work beside her every day.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School North Haven is…

Building connections with Future Professionals and seeing them grow into amazing stylists and happier, more confident people. I love teaching Core and having the opportunity to be there for them from day one.

To me, living beautifully means…

Having a servant’s heart. Our school owner, Laura Landino, reminds us to always have a servant’s heart and it is so incredibly true. Giving to others is so beautifully rewarding and fulfilling. Even one small act of kindness can create magic for someone every day!

Experience in education …

Prior to becoming a cosmetology instructor, I was a dance teacher, which taught me about patience, empathy, and that a teacher of any sort can make a difference. My background as a dance teacher prepared me to teach my passion, which is cosmetology, and to help Future Professionals excel in their passion and achieve their goals in this field.

Experience in the beauty industry…

After graduating from Paul Mitchell The School North Haven in 2013, I pursued my passion in three salons and a barbershop, growing as a person and a cosmetologist with each opportunity. I also attended countless classes to build my knowledge in this field.

There is so much to learn from Laura and Quiana – their passion for this industry inspires me every day!

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School North Haven is …

Inspiring Future Professionals to achieve their dreams. Our Future Professionals are unique in their own ways, and I love interacting with every one of them. I love it when they’re having a challenge with something and the “light bulb” suddenly goes off. The pure joy they radiate is magical!

All the people around me who work hard and do what they love.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell The School North Haven is…
