Located in the heart of Southern California, Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena offers cosmetology, hair stylist, barbering, skincare, and nail care programs at our 15,000-square-foot campus. Just a few minutes away from Old Town Pasadena and the shops and restaurants of South Lake Avenue, our cosmetology school in Pasadena, CA, is an easy commute for students and guests from South Pasadena, Burbank, Arcadia, Glendale, and Los Angeles.

Visit Our CampusCosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.
Cosmetology (1200 hr, 1000 hr.)
HairStylist (600 hr)
Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.

Skin Care
Go beyond the makeup basics taught in most cosmetology programs and learn about the advanced techniques required for bridal, editorial, and runway makeup.
Skin Care (600 hours)
Nail Care
Students in our nail care program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.
