Anna's Story

Anna Ayres

Growing up the oldest of four children taught me responsibility and the importance of family at an early age. I saw my parents sacrifice and do everything they could to make sure we had everything we needed and most of what we wanted (or what we thought we needed). We were not allowed to have a TV in our bedroom and at the time I never understood the why behind it, but as I got older, I appreciated it. I appreciated the time our family spent together watching TV, family vacations, and going to each other’s sporting events that we participated in (although I’m pretty sure I embarrassed my brothers most of the time because I was a very vocal observer at their games and was known to get kicked out a time or two). I was a cheerleader from 8 years old through high school so yelling was something I was very good at!

I jumped into motherhood at an early age and had to grow up quick. The struggle was REAL, but I wouldn’t change any of it. Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment and I love every minute of it. (Well, mostly every minute) I have one 23-year-old daughter and three fur babies. She makes me proud to be her mom every day; she has taught me more than she will ever know. I am also a VERY proud aunt of five nephews!

Two years ago I started doing CrossFit and enjoy getting my day started with a good workout! We moved to the lake about 7 years ago and spend every chance we get on our boat wake surfing and hanging out in the cove. If it’s football season, we’re at every UGA home game yelling GO DAWGS from the 35-yard line. I am a HUGE Georgia fan! My husband races cars and competes in road races all over the country. (Yes, I yell at these events too) My most memorable win was Indy because we all got to kiss the bricks after the race. I get my hands dirty helping from time to time, and as a female, I’m proud to say I can change tires, brakes and help with an engine swap. My husband is my rock and our family’s anchor-I don’t know what I’d do without him.

I joined Esani after working in the banking industry for 15 years, which is how I met Miss Arlene. I didn’t have any knowledge about the beauty industry but when she asked me to join her team, I jumped on it! I had been to the school several times when we did bank events and absolutely loved the vibe and the Esani family. It is so exciting to watch the future professionals throughout their journey! I look forward to continuing my growth and learning more about this industry!
