Paul Mitchell The School In Costa Mesa
Team

Meet some of the Learning Leaders and team members who make Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa so special.

Damiano Baggio

Marketing Leader

A little about what you do?

My share in our team is Marketing. I show what’s happening in our school by means of videos, pictures and posts on social media. I do this with dedication and passion.

How would you explain education?

Education is the art of making people love what you do and give them reasons to follow your steps by making them feel at ease and respected at the same time.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell the school…

It’s definitely the freedom to be creative and have fun in its environment.

To me, living beautifully means…

It means to express yourself and make your life count through your inner thoughts and not only through your appearance.

Experience in Education...
I am a graduate of the Orlo School of Cosmetology in Albany, NY!

Experience in the Beauty Industry...
Following cosmetology school I began assisting, and working for Laura Mercier cosmetics. With a deep love for color, I specialize in hairpainting and freelance for cosmetic companies. I continue my education by attending balayage classes, and makeup workshops.

My mentor, or the person who has most inspires me is...
Forever inspired by fellow boss babes I admire those such as JK Rowling and Oprah Winfrey who have never failing drive and ambition to obtain their goals.

My favorite thing about working at Paul Mitchell the school...
Watching the future professionals blossom into beautiful hair artists!

To me, living beautifully means...
To me living beautifully means to find something positive and wonderful in each day, no matter how difficult. Even just taking a few minutes to look up to the sky and admire the clouds, is a beautiful moment.

I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 16 years and hold current licenses in both New York and Colorado.
I have years of experience and training in Matrix, Redken, Joico, Pravana and Goldwell.

Experience in Beauty Industry:

I graduated from Cheeks International Beauty Academy in 2002 and began working for Regis Corporation as a stylist at Mastercuts and SmartStyle Salons. In 2007, I purchased my own salon. I owned and operated it until 2016 when I moved to New York. I have taken many on-going education classes through the years and look forward to continuing this learning journey!
KNOWLEDGE IS KEY!

The Person Who Has Most Inspired Me:

This would be my Dad- he consistently showed me how to have a great work ethic- you get up everyday and give your best and do it with passion! My Dad's unconditional love, no matter where I was in my life, always encouraged me to do & be better- even if it took me a couple of try's to get it!

My Favorite Thing About Working at PMTS:

The energy and encouragement that flows through the school is intoxicating- I love the way everyone works together to make each day the best possible day and the fact that no man is left behind!
TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!!

To Me Living Beautifully Means:

Getting to live out the person and talents God blessed me with, loving my family unconditionally, look & find the good in everyone and NEVER taking a minute of life for granted!

To me, living beautifully means...
Living beautifully means living your own way, meaning that staying true and honest to yourself and others while keeping a sense of humor can allow us to be serious about the decisions we make in life, but not too serious where we aren't allowed to live it. Beauty lies within us all and around us all and if we can harness that idea, then we are bound by nothing in life.
