Explore the world of beauty education at Paul Mitchell The School St. George with programs in cosmetology, nails, barbering, and beauty instruction. Established in 2019, our beauty school in St. George is located right off Dixie Drive, down the street from the Tonaquint Nature Center. Students from St. George and nearby communities like Santa Clara and Washington can learn in the shadow of the natural beauty of the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area and Zion National Park.

Cosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.
Cosmetology/Barbering (1600 hours), Hair Design (1200 hours)
Barber
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.
Barbering (1000.00 hours)
Nails
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.
Nail Technician (300.00 hours)
Instructor
Our Teacher Training program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their cosmetology, barbering, or esthetician state board examination.
