We are excited to announce a new partnership in education for higher learning with Kent State University Geauga. This partnership now allows all alumni, current Future Professionals and prospective students of Paul Mitchell The School Cleveland to apply their license towards life credits for an Associate of Technical Study degree through Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center in Twinsburg. Courses in the degree program can be individually tailored to provide licensed cosmetologists with a solid foundation for their entrepreneurial and business endeavors, whether it be owning and operating their own salon, expanding upon their management skills and so much more.

The credits earned from the completion of the 1500-hour Cosmetology Program at Paul Mitchell The School Cleveland or Paul Mitchell The School Columbus will go toward the completion of an Associate of Technical Studies (A.T.S.) degree. A minimum of 60-61 semester hours of coursework is required for this degree. It provides 15 hours of general education courses and 15 hours in technical courses, which provides education specifically related to the student’s career goals.

TUITION & FEES
With tuition starting at $6,300* per year, Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center provides a world-class education taught by qualified faculty at roughly 40% of the cost of a public four-year university in the state of Ohio. Online course fees may apply to online courses not exclusively associated with the Associate of Technical Studies program. FINANCIAL AID
We are committed to providing students quality education—without the expensive price tag. Our financial aid staff assists students with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
applying for scholarships, and helping create a budget in order to graduate with the least amount of student- debt possible.

Students are encouraged to consider scholarships available outside of Kent State University. Information related to outside scholarships, grants, and/or other resources received by students to help pay education- related expenses must be reported annually to the Student Financial Aid Office.
