Paul Mitchell The School Fresno invites you to bring your goals and creativity and explore the exciting worlds of cosmetology and barbering. Located near the popular Fashion Fair mall and easily accessible from nearby freeways, our cosmetology school in Fresno, CA, welcomes students from all over Fresno, Kern, and Madera counties. With year–round sunshine and close proximity to three national parks, you’ll find plenty of inspiration and fun.

Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.

Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.

Manicuring
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.
