Paul Mitchell The School Great Lakes - Cosmetology School
Paul Mitchell The School Great Lakes offers cosmetology, nails, and instructor courses at our 7,800-square-foot beauty school in Port Huron, MI. Students (we call them Future Professionals) gather from all over Port Huron and St. Clair to study at one of the original Paul Mitchell schools, founded in 2000 and located near lively downtown Port Huron and I-94, on Lapeer Road.

Visit Our CampusCosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills

Teacher Training
Our Teacher Training program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their cosmetology, barbering, or esthetician state board examination.

Nail Technician
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.

Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.
