Founded in 2009, Paul Mitchell The School Wichita spans 12,500 square feet and offers leading programs in cosmetology and barbering. Our cosmetology and barber school in Wichita, KS, is near popular attractions like the Sedgwick County Zoo and the Museum of World Treasures. We conveniently offer night programs and serve students from all surrounding areas in the Hutchinson-Wichita demographic, as far-reaching as Garden City to Pittsburgh, KS.

Visit Our CampusCosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.
Cosmetology (1500 hours)
Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.
Barbering (1200 hours)
Nails
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.
Nails (350 hours) No Start Dates at this Time.
Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.
