Paul Mitchell The School Baton Rouge provides cosmetology, esthetics, and instructor training programs in a welcoming 13,000-square-foot campus. Founded in 2006, our beauty school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is surrounded by a renowned food culture and lively local festivities, including our very own Mardi Gras. Located 30 minutes from Louisiana State University and Southern University, and less than a mile from Lake Sherwood Mall, our campus is easily accessible from I-10, I-12, and surrounding areas like Baker, Zachary, Central, Prairieville, and Denham Springs.

Learn More About Our CampusCosmetology Programs
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.
Cosmetology (1500 hrs)
Instructor Programs
Our Teacher Training program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their cosmetology, barbering, or esthetician state board examination.

Esthetics Programs
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.
