Paul Mitchell The School Modesto offers leading cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and manicuring programs at our beauty school in Modesto, CA. Join us in our 21,000-square-foot facility on McHenry Avenue, where you can access great shopping, diverse restaurants, and the popular Beyer Skate Park. Our convenient location puts you within minutes of nearby communities including Rouse, Riverdale Park, and McHenry, as well as popular attractions like Caswell Memorial State Park.

Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.

Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.

Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.
Esthetician (600.00 hours)
Nails
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.
