As one of the first schools in the Paul Mitchell school network and the longest currently operating cosmetology school in Provo, Utah, we offer a comprehensive curriculum that has shaped future beauty professionals since 1982. Our new location at The Mix at River’s Edge is conveniently located just off University Parkway, making it a breeze to commute from neighboring cities like Orem, Lindon, American Fork, Springville, Spanish Fork, and Payson.

Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.

Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.

Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.

Nail Technician
Students in our nails program learn about manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, fills, gels, tips, and creative designs, as well as the business skills needed in the nail industry.

Teacher Training
Our Teacher Training program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their cosmetology, barbering, or esthetician state board examination.

Eyelash And Eyebrow Technician
Get introduced to the essentials of lash and brow artistry through hands-on instruction in tinting, waxing, lamination, and more, while building a well-rounded understanding of salon hygiene, anatomy, and client care best practices.
