All services are performed by Future Professionals under the supervision of an instructor.
Full-priced products are 100% guaranteed and may be exchanged with another product of equal or lesser value. Chemical services are guaranteed only when the prescribed products are purchased.
We apologize, but for safety reasons, children are not permitted on the clinic floor unless receiving service. If waiting in our reservation area, they must be supervised by an adult. For chemical services, you must be at least 12 years old. For haircut services, you must be at least 5 years old.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I request a specific Future Professional for my service?
Yes! If you would like to request a specific Future Professional, let our Guest Experience Team know their name or student number when you schedule your appointment. Even though our space closely mirrors a hair salon, all guest services are performed in our Clinic Classroom. It is a learning environment where our Future Professionals are developing their skill sets. Our culture celebrates diversity with the goal of learning all types/textures of hair. Our systems ensure that all Future Professionals get this opportunity in addition to achieving their licensure. We are happy to recommend someone who may be a fit for the services you request. However, we do not schedule based on race, color, creed or religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other basis. Requests will be honored to the best of our ability. If a Future Professional is absent, we reserve the right to move the appointment to a different Future Professional or reschedule.
How much time will my appointment take?
In addition to being new learners, our Future Professionals are also having their services checked systematically by their Learning Leaders, which does add additional time. Please make yourself available a minimum of 1 1/2 hours for nonchemical services and up to 4 hours for chemical services. *If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we reserve the right to change the initial service request OR reschedule you to accommodate other guests.
Can I bring a friend or family member to my appointment?
We love that you want to bring your friends and family to share in your experience. Because our Clinic Classroom is a learning environment, we request that anyone not receiving a service be seated in our guest waiting area. However, children cannot be left unattended in our waiting area, nor are permitted to be in the Clinic Classroom while their parent/guardian is receiving services.
Can children under 18 receive services?
Yes! Children age five and older can receive non chemical services. Children 12+ can receive chemical services.

When I arrive at my appointment, where do I park?
Parking lot parking available.
What if I can’t make it to my appointment?
We understand, sometimes plans change! Please let us know ahead of time so we can reschedule your appointment. We do not (currently) charge a service fee for reschedules/no-shows.
What if I am unsatisfied with my service?
If you are not satisfied with your service for any reason, our Guest Experience Team will be happy to schedule you for a refinement. You have 7 days from the date of original service to receive a refinement. We do not offer cash refunds on services.
Am I able to return a Take Home product for a refund?
We stand by our products 100%. If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason, you may return it for a refund or exchange it for another product of equal or lesser value.
Can I leave a tip for my Future Professional?
Absolutely! We currently have a cash-only gratuity policy in place. If you choose to leave a gratuity for your Future Professional, we have envelopes available for your cash donation. You can also ask your Future Professional if they have CashApp, Venmo, etc. We cannot accept tips on behalf of the Future Professionals and the guest must deliver the tip to the Future Professionals directly.
I don’t want to be photographed. Is that ok?
Our Future Professionals love to share their amazing work through social media, which allows them to build their digital portfolios. If you would prefer NOT to be photographed, please let us know, and we will honor your request.
What is your policy on extensions/wigs?
We currently do not provide services on wigs or any type of extensions.
