As our co-founder John Paul DeJoria has famously said, “Success unshared is failure.” That’s why our Future Professionals at Paul Mitchell The School Raleigh are proud and excited to give back through local events and our annual three-month FUNraising campaigns. In fact, since 2004, Paul Mitchell Schools throughout the country have raised over $18 million for charities in their communities and around the world.
Here at Paul Mitchell The School Raleigh, we participate in many community events. Every August we team up with the Radio Station K97.5 and host an annual event called “Cuts for Kids.” It’s where we give free haircuts to every kid in K-12 grade who's going back to school. We also donate school supplies to help save their parents some money, which everyone loves!
We annually sponsor “Art 2 Wear” which is a huge fashion show here in Raleigh, NC; we team up with NC State University and put together a Fashion Show and do complimentarily hair and makeup for the event. Over hundreds of people come out to support and watch us work our magic.
Every year we participate in FUNraising to help out many different organizations. We have worked with many TV programs, including a video called “Unfaithful” for The Oprah Winfrey Network where we did hair and makeup, as well as “Strut Your Stuff” for the CW22 Network. We love supporting our community and raising funds for wonderful organizations, and will lovingly continue to do so every year!
