Here at Paul Mitchell the School Salt Lake City, we have both classes available with financial aid and scholarships for those that qualify! So which one do you choose? This comprehensive list will help you make your decision.
Basic Esthetics Class
Basic esthetics classes are 600 hours. That’s 600 hours to learn amazing skills from trained professionals! Here’s what you’ll learn:
- Facials: including european facials
- Facial Waxing
- Body waxing
- Makeup application
- Eyelash extensions
- Spa treatments
- Nail treatments
- Facial massage
- lash/brow tinting
- Basic skin sciences
- Business and marketing
- Laws and requirements

Master Esthetics Class
In a Master class, you’d be committing to 1200 hours! Double the time for you to learn even more skills and have more time to practice under our talented instructors. Our Master class features more advanced esthetics treatments. A Master class includes learning:
- Facials
- Facial Waxing
- Body waxing
- Makeup application
- Eyelash extensions
- Spa treatments
- Nail treatments
- Facial massage
- Lash/brow tinting
- Microdermabrasion
- Laser treatments
- Medical treatments
- Skin sciences
- Skin disorders and treatments
- Advanced hair removal
- Business and marketing
- Laws and requirements
