Investing in our programs means investing in the education and core skills you will need to enter the professional world of beauty and barbering. Our program costs include tuition, application and registration fees, plus a professional technical kit, textbooks, and digital learning resources where applicable.
*Technical tools, books, and Core Cutting materials etc. come at an additional cost.

Program length depends on the program you choose and whether you attend full-time or part-time. Many of our full-time programs can be completed in as little as 8–9 months, while part-time schedules typically take 16–18 months.
Each program is designed to provide the training and hands-on experience needed to prepare for licensure and a successful career in the beauty industry.

The goal is to assist all graduates to obtain in-field or related-field employment. Career Services is available to assist students throughout their training programs and continues to offer assistance beyond graduation.

We have a calendar of days and times when you may miss school. We strongly encourage you to maintain good attendance and really devote yourself to school, so you get the most out of every day!

Yes, we welcome transfer students at Paul Mitchell The School Salt Lake City. The number of transfer hours is determined on a case-by-case basis in accordance with state regulations.
Specific requirements vary, and transfer students may require additional training to meet state board standards.

Every state has its own requirements for licensing. The school you graduated from will be happy to help you to research what you will need to become licensed anywhere in the United States.
To become licensed in Utah, individuals must complete required training and pass state licensing exams.
Our programs are aligned with state licensing requirements.
We do not offer housing or housing assistance at our schools. We can provide you with a list of housing options in the area.
