Founded in 2009, Paul Mitchell The School – Norman offers leading programs in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and instructor training at our 16,800-square-foot campus. Located on Ed Noble Parkway near the Parkway Plaza Shopping Center, Sooner Mall, and the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, our school is surrounded by fantastic shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. Learn More About Our CampusCosmetology
Start your cosmetology education and learn real-world haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, skin care, and nails. You’ll explore the fundamentals and theory in the classroom, then practice skills like braiding, extensions, and other popular techniques in a salon environment, using professional products, tools, and skills.

Barbering
Students in our barbering programs learn classic short haircuts as well as scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques, fades, tapers, and precision haircutting. They also learn short-hair color placements, short-hair styling techniques, customized beard grooming, and shaves.

Esthetics
Learn hands-on skincare techniques and theory in hair removal, waxing, brow design, makeup, facials, facial massage, use of facial machines, and skin therapy.

Teacher Training
Our Teacher Training program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their cosmetology, barbering, or esthetician state board examination.
